Augmented Reality (AR) Storyboards

Created for the “3D Bitmoji” animated shorts on the social media platform Snapchat. They have a vertical film gate, as the sequence is viewed on the user’s phone. The sequence is populated through the user’s camera, so the animated character appears to be standing physically in our real 3D space. Once planted, the viewer can move around the character to see them from all angles, so special consideration had to be taken for both the storyboards and the animation process.
